Indio, California
It was a long day in the van: 10 hours on the road and 635 miles on the odometer. As I watched mile after mile of cactus and mountains go by, I realized how good it is that we chose to drive and to drive the route that we're on. This is one awesomely beautiful country. Next stop: Irvine, California.

Wow you guys are making great progress. Wanted to let you know the girls have the house all cleaned and ready for you. Also, your medicine arrived yeasterday. That warm sunshine looks appealing from here where we had snow flurries this morning and more predicted for tonight. Nothing is sticking so it is it is mostly just cold and wet. The sun has popped out few times though, which has been nice.
